The information on blood type is not intended for diagnosing, treating, curing, or preventing disease. Neither the Company nor its employees are medical practitioners or providers of medical services.

As the Territory of American Samoa is a small island with limited supply chains, the information provided by You is provided voluntarily with the understanding that LBJ Tropical Medical Center (hereinafter referred to as "LBJ") may not always have enough blood inventories for emergency medical needs.

It is for this reason that The Company allows You to provide your blood type voluntarily in order to notify You when your blood type matches a public call for blood donors.

Our network architecture and business practices prohibit us from disclosing your blood type to LBJ under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). It is your voluntary decision to contact LBJ after You receive a notification from the Company.

If a blood donor match is not delivered by email notification due to software or system failure, the Company is not responsible for loss of life.

The Company cannot guarantee the security of our services against network attacks on the company or its services for storing your blood type. Even if the Company is informed of the possibility that damages may occur, the Company is not liable for any loss of life, disclosure of blood type, or damage to information or services provided.

The information on the Service is provided with the understanding that the Company is not herein engaged in providing emergency services, first responder assistance, disaster relief, utility and infrastructure repair services, weather and meteorological forecasts, or other related services.
